Bluetooth Headset To Record Audio in a Video

Q: Can I force the video record app to use my Bluetooth mic instead of the phone's mic?

Details: I have a Bluetooth headset (earbuds and mic) that works great for phone calls. When I record a video with the default video app, it uses the phone's mic instead of the headset mic. I don't see anywhere in the settings where I can tell the video app which mic I'd prefer it to use.

That will only work with devices that except external microphone input and most likely only wired.

Thanks Mike. Do you know of a hack I could use to fake out the video app? Or a different video recorder app that allows the user to select the mic source?
