HELLO ALL I have the galaxy s7 edge it is not connecting to my bluetooth in my car when placing calls, everything else works. (maps voice, music, youtube etc) It will pick up the call but no audio is playing. I connected my old phone to the bluetooth and it works fine any suggestion? thanks

With my car I have a Bluetooth radio we put in (face can be removed). When I connect for calls I need to make sure the volume is up over 30 to hear it. For some reason with mine anyway, Bluetooth volume needs set much higher than regular old radio (non bluetooth)

Thanks for the reply I have tried that also! turned it alllll the way up still nothing, I hope its not a software issue

When you connect to the car, open Bluetooth on your phone, find your car there. You should have a settings icon on the right. Tap that and you'll get the permissions the car has.
Your car has to get access to your messages calls contacts, else it will just act as an external speaker. Check if those settings are correct...

Depending on the make / model of the car, or if it is an aftermarket radio, you may need to go into the settings and either delete or unpair your old phone, if you no longer use it.

Some devices have issues with more than one phone being paired, and the most common of those is the radio thinks that the old phone is the only one that is actually a phone, so it ignores that feature on your new one.
