So, today I found out that if you have Bluetooth synced for voice calls AND for media playback with your vehicle (in my case an Elantra GT) and you try to watch a video or play a game (like my son tried to do today), there is no sound from the phone and when you go to the volume and look at the media volume bar, it has the red portion on it just like if you have earphones plugged in. If you raise the volume, you get the ridiculous message saying the level may hurt your little ears.

Shutting off just the media playback feature under Bluetooth settings for my vehicle on the phone did the trick but it took me a long while to figure that one out. Just wanted to spread the word.

No there's sound from the phone when playing a game or watching a video AFTER you turn off the media playback feature under the Bluetooth settings on the phone for the vehicle. The red portion of the media volume bar goes away as well. I don't stream music from my phone through the car's Bluetooth anyway so I'll just keep it set to off.
