Bluetooth kayboard compatible with Note 10.1 2014?

in answer to the original question if it helps i have this

Which works really well. I use it quite a lot.

I got this keyboard today. I'm still having connection issues with it. It does seem to reconnect much quicker than the other keyboards I've tried, but it is still disconnecting and reconnecting if I wait more than a few seconds between typing.

I use a keyboard daily with my 10 inch tablets, so I need this to work. I'm going to return my 10.1, go back to my Nexus 10, and probably buy the Note again if and when this is resolved.

strange that I have not noticed any disconnection problems.

Weird. I like the keyboard though. It seems to be full size and has great interface with Android. It is rechargeable and very inexpensive. Maybe some others will get it and post their experience.

I received this same battery charged inShang Android keyboard today. It's experiencing the same disconnect issues. I've been through 5-6 keyboards now, and all of them disconnect from the Note 10.1 2014. None of them disconnect from the Nexus 10 running 4.3. I'm sending my Note 10.1 2014 back today. It's really a shame.

Hey all - thought I would share my experience - we just picked up 4 of these at work, and they are all working so far:
Amazon.com: VSTN Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition Bluetooth Keyboard Portfolio Case - DETACHABLE Bluetooth Keyboard Stand Case / Cover for Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition (DETACHABLE Bluetooth Keyboard, Black): Computers & Accessories

I'm really impressed, we picked them up for like $34 bucks each (the price shows $39 today), although they were backordered for about a week. We are all on the most recent firmware version. Here's a couple of photos.

Hope those of you having trouble get them going. If I have any trouble, I'll post an update.

Cheers -

I purchased that same keyboard case from amazon. Surprisingly nice for the money, although I plan to replace it with a nicer one from zagg, Logitech, or Belkin, if they become available. Unfortunately I am having the drop and reconnect bluetooth issues with this keyboard case, as well as with the Microsoft wedge keyboard, making them useless. Hopefully Samsung will fix this fast. I may return my 10.1 2014 before I get to my 30 days if they don't.

I've had the same experience - dropping connections with a variety of Bluetooth keyboards. At this point, I am gun shy about try a new one. Any leads?

I`m using a Logitech K810 on the note 10.1 right now, and have not so far experienced disconnection within the 10 days or so I`ve been using it.

I have tried two Android Logitech blue tooth keyboards that worked fin eon my original Note 10.1 and still work on my Galaxy S4. Samsung tech support is useless. They told me it was definably a compatibility issue and guaranteed me their keyboard would work. Got it yesterday and it still drops in and out. If anyone gets a fix please let me know. Samsung tech support does not see a problem.

I just got off of the phone with tech support for the fourth time, after resetting the Bluetooth connection, the tech stated to reset the system. I can see where this is going. At least he could speak English this time.

I have not had much luck with the few times that I have used Samsung Tech Support. I tried my Logitech Android Bluetooth keyboard that worked fine on my previous Note 10.1 and it kept dropping the connection. Tech support told me it was the keyboard, so I purchased a second Logitech that still would not work but works fine with all of my other device running Jelly Bean 4.3. Tech support stated I needed to purchase the Samsung Bluetooth keyboard, so desperate for answers, I did and it still will not work. Final step was to reset the system per tech support. Last call was this week and they finally stated they know there is a problem and watch their site for a compatible Bluetooth keyboard under the accessories. Unacceptable customer support.

I found a thread on XDA that appears to have the answer. The onscreen keyboard seems to fight with an installed Bluetooth keyboard.
They gave instructions to make the system automatically disable the onscreen keyboard when a Bluetooth keyboard is sensed.
The onscreen keyboard is automatically re-enabled when you disconnect the Bluetooth keyboard.
It worked for me.

Here's the info, hope I'm not breaking the rules by including the link.

I've returned my Note 10.1, but I'll buy another one if this is resolved. Is everybody with a 2014 now seeing an option to disable the on-screen keyboard as is indicated in this link?

I could see it when I had the BT keyboard connected and I used the keyboard to navigate to the option in settings (using arrow keys).

I need to do more thorough testing, but I haven't seen the connection drop the last couple times I tested it. I hope I'm not premature in saying that.
