Has anyone ran into bluetooth disconnecting?
I'll be using my bluetooth headset at work and all of a sudden the music starts playing on the phone. I've tried reading the headphones but it just disconnects again and again.

I've had multiple bluetooth issues. I've reset my phone and it still disconnects from time to time. It is either my bluetooth headset or an app that is causing the disconnect. I hope to figure out what's going on soon because its driving me crazy.

Have Bluetooth issue with my car and HTC one. Is this ongoing issue with HTC and Bluetooth connections???:-
Haven't decided to upgrade to HTC10 because of Bluetooth issues.

So far so good, and I use Bluetooth all the time. I have only had issues with a cheap headset. None with the plantronics.

I have never had a problem on any HTC phone. My wife had a problem on a 2014 Moto X that if both wifi and Bluetooth were turned on at the same time, wifi would have problems and Bluetooth would not stay connected. Try turning off wifi and see if Bluetooth will stay connected.

This is my fourth HTC and up until now I've never had Bluetooth problems (and unlike some others I don't have any WiFi problems). Over the last couple of days I've had several random disconnects, where both my phone and the device think they are still connected but sound suddenly switches to my phone. I have to turn off my headset and reconnect, or manually disconnect from my Jeep and reconnect, to fix this. This is pretty troublesome since I use either my LG Tones or Bluetooth in my Jeep ALL of the time!

I have issues with it not reconnecting automatically to my car when I get in. My M8 did it no problems.

Ok, now I see there is a slight problem. I use the Plantronics 505, and when I touch the accept button on the headset, people can hear me, but I cannot hear them. I have to put the phone on speaker for a second and then switch back to bluetooth for it to connect properly. This happens each and every time with the 505. It happens about 50/50 with the 165. Often enough it is annoying, and I am wanting HTC to look at this issue. This is specific to the M10, since I have never, ever had this issue with my M8.

No one else with bluetooth issues?

I have had issues with bluetooth with my 10. Sometimes the phone connects automatically with the car and other times it fails to connect. With my plantronics voyager legend I have had instances where the bluetooth would connect then disconnect. After a minute it would connect automatically. I have factory reset the phone and everything and it still happens. I got the voyager 5220 bluetooth and so far that hasn't suffered any disconnects. The failure to connect still happens in my car though.

It seems that the 505 is the culprit, but I also have uneven volume on all of them. Some connections are almost too loud at minimum volume, and others are too hard to hear.

I had serious Bluetooth Issues with my 2016 Maxima. I went back to my S7 Edge and considering keeping the HTC 10 or just selling it.

I use it with my external speaker no issue and the Plantronics Voyager 5220 no issue. I went with the new version (5220) as the other was like 4 years old already, half the price, but 4 years old which really means 4+ years old technology.

Anyone else having the uneven volume issue? I think it is probably the headset, but on my M8, the 165 was too loud 95% of the time, and the M50 was too soft all the time, and so I had to crank bluetooth volume to 100% to hear it. The 505 seems either too loud, or too soft, never a nice middle ground. The part behind the ear, on the 5220, I tried one, and it really bothered me with glasses.

Was your M8 on Marshmallow? I have an M8 and started having problems with bluetooth audio connection in my BMW after the Marshmallow upgrade. Before that I never had any issues.

Does the S7 sound good? My Nexus 6P sounds horrible while my buddy's iPhone sounds great. I'm trying to find a phone that sounds great within the Android universe but don't really have an option to test.

With Bluetooth they all sound pretty much the same in the car.

The HTC 10 sounds better with wired headphones and it's a lot louder, but doesn't really bother me.

I wanted to keep the HTC 10 and it's much less aggravating to use in daily navigation (especially interface lag, which my S7 Edge does plenty of). But there's 2 huge issues right now. The camera doesn't seem to get the pic quite as easily or "right" as the S7 Edge in terms of focus and shot to shot. I can see the S7 Edge's display outside in bright sun and with sunglasses. And Bluetooth works in my car with no fuss. The HTC 10 simply would loop Bluetooth to try to get music to play for 5-10 mins daily.

I will accept that the S7 Edge's AMOLED will probably be trash by year 1 but I am going to get rid of it by then.

I'm honestly waiting for an iPhone with strong front (wide angle) and rear cameras because Android still can't everything right in one device. And Apple is falling behind on hardware usability.
