Bluetooth Keyboard Focus

I noticed an issue today where I'm using my bluetooth keyboard to play a game, and when I get a message notification, my keyboard stops working with the game until I refocus on the game. Is there a way to prevent the focus from shifting to the notification so my game isn't interrupted?

Yes, I have the S9.

Yeah, I saw that, but I don't want to miss notifications, I'm just hoping to avoid them intruding on my game. I want to see them pop up, but they need to wait for me to get to them when I'm ready.

When a notification pops up, focus is shifted to the notice - that's normal in all operating systems, not just Android. To change that, you'd have to rewrite Android (and maybe even the kernel).
