Bluetooth not playing media sound

I have 2 bluetooth headsets I use in the car. The Motorolla h730 does not play media sounds(music and video sound) the plantronics does. I called Motorolla they are not sure why there answer is we will send you another.
Anyone lese ever have this issue?
Could you believe the Motorolla didn't work with Motorolla phone?

Fyi the sound does work for phone sound

my car does not have bluetooth I use an external Motorolla bluetooth

Sometimes you need to touch and hold on a bluetooth device in Bluetooth options and select for both phone and media to be played through it. Some don't have all of the Bluetooth codecs to do both media and phone, you need to check on that. Unless the Bluetooth device is fairly new it might not have that capability.

On my Moto G 3rd Gen it would play through the phone speaker when my Bluetooth headphones were connected instead of the head phones. I did "Forget this device" a couple of times and it did the same thing every time. When I selected the type of connection in the settings for that device I de-selected everything (Phone, Media, and something else) then added back just Media and it began to work. :-\

Any one use a JABRA BT2046 can't find out if media will work on Note 5,help please and thank you!
