Bluetooth on Infiniti

Hi,

So I don't drive my car as often anymore and just tried connecting my Maxx HD to the bluetooth on my 2008 Infiniti G35. It just states that a device can't be found, or something along those lines when I search for a device to connect to on the car. The bluetooth is enabled on the phone.

I never had any issues connecting my previous Droid 2 Global.

I had heard of some people having issues trying to connect on Infiniti's that were running 4.1.1. But once they updated to 4.1.2 it worked fine. I have been running 4.1.2 and hadn't had any luck with the bluetooth connecting on 4.1.1 or 4.1.2.

Anyone encounter this or have any thoughts?

I had similar problems on my 2007 S550. My car comes with a hockey puck like device that allows bt connectivity. I had a HTC Thunderbolt that connected flawlessly. My MAXXHD had issues. I had to replace the puck with a newer model and update the COMAND programming. Our phones come with the latest bluetooth stacks so our cars might need updating. It synced flawlessly in my gf's 2011 hyundai Tucson and the aftermarket Pioneer navigation unit i bought for my truck last year. I'd get in touch with your dealer.

No issues connecting to my G37 convertible.

Bob, how has the quality of the connection been? I've got a Rezound now, and while i can hear others without issue on my 2013 G37, i often sound garbled to them (i had the same issue on my 2010 G37)...I'm in the market now, and debating between the Maxx HD and the Galaxy S4....just curious to hear folks experiences.

I've not taken call on my phone in the g37. I've talked to my wife while she was hands free and I found the sound not to be great. However she had a Galaxy 3. I've used hand free on my Maxx in my 2013 Explorer and people can't tell difference, they didn't even know I was driving.
