Anybody get this to work? I had a similar problem with a Garmin Vivosmart, where it would not stay paired. Ended up returning the Garmin product. I have a feeling it is related to the Moto's trusted device pairing, but not adding the Omron to the trusted devices doesn't help either as far as I can tell.

It looks like Omron gives up waiting for response from the BP monitor realy fast.
On the first try accept the BP monitor as trusted device.
now unpair the BP monitor.
Try one more time but BE ready and click pair on the moto X message, it should pair.

Apps should wait for the phone's host OS to finish its process otherwise it is a security issue. You don't want malicious devices to connect to your phone, Do you?

I was able to get it to connect long enough to upload, and then it prompltly loses connection. After seeing how it uses the data, it isn't actually even worth the effort. Happily, when I reported the issue back to Amazon and told them I wanted to return it, they refunded me the purchase price without requiring me to send the monitor back. How cool is that?
