Bluetooth Pairing

Greetings,

I have a Note Pro 12.2. Model SM-P900. Android Ver 5.0.2.

I am having difficulty pairing with a Yamaha YAS 203 soundbar. Here are the details:

-turn on soundbar
-select bluetooth on sound bar
-according to soundbar doc, PIN is 0000
-make tablet visible
-select soundbar for pairing
-do not get dialogue to enter PIN
-error message: Cannot pair with Yamaha YAS203. Incorrect PIN or Password
-was able to pair Galaxy S7 with soundbar and paired tablet with S7
-contacted Samsung support. Was advised that devices were incompatible. Never heard that one before. Never had 2 devices that would not pair

Any help would be most appreciated.
