Bluetooth Problem after Lollipop update

Since the update, when I use my bluetooth speakerphone in my car, it is supposed to allow dialing by voice even if the phone is locked. This used to work fine with KitKat, but since the update it will not work when the phone is locked.

It will work if I unlock the phone then invoke the voice dial, but what's the point?

Anyone else having this problem?

Thanks.

Might be related to the new smart lock feature in lollipop. Set up your BT connection as a trusted device in the lock screen settings. It shouldn't lock anymore while connected to your car and you should be able to voice dial.

Thanks. I don't see anything about "smart lock" on my LG G2. Where is it located?

After doing some digging, I found it! Now have to test it to see if that was the issue.

Thanks again!

Well, I was really hoping it would work, but even after adding the BT to the trusted device setting, as long as the screen is off it won't let me dial out by voice.

If I turn on the screen it works.

Any other ideas? Are others having the same problem?
