Bluetooth problem or something else?

Is it possible, that when I'm on the phone (using bluetooth) and my caller can no longer hear me but I can hear them, that it's not a bluetooth problem, but something else?

Also, when this happens I turn off my bt while on the phone with them, and then I can't hear them either.

What are we talking about here? Bluetooth headphones/earbuds? Bluetooth car audio system?

Whatever it is, brand and model, please.

I've had the same problem with this phone, and found that the best way to fix it is to just reboot the phone and reconnect to bluetooth. Life is too short to spend it trying to figure out bluetooth issues.
