Bluetooth question

Can I use my car stereo's Bluetooth voice dial with my Captivate? This has worked on every phone that I have owned since my Samsung Muziq. After I pair and connect I used to be able to just tap the button on my stereo and I would get the voice prompt to say a command. This is missing on my Captivate, I'm running Cognition 2.3b8, I thought Froyo brought that feature to the Captivate. Thanks in advance for the tips and info everyone!

I thought I read somewhere that the bluetooth connect-to-speak capability didn't fully work for Cognition. I could be wrong but I know that with my Jawbone, I have a similar issue where I cannot press it to get the same voice search prompt.

It works for Vlingo but not the Google Voice Search capability. Maybe try to download that app and see if you have any better luck.

Switch to Perception (cognition derived from i9000 froyo instead of Catpivate leaked froyo). That is one of the only differences.
