Bluetooth static in car since upgrade

Immediately after upgrade to Marshmallow on my LG G4, whenever I try to use Bluetooth for calling or for voicemail, I get such a static sound that it's unusable. I booted in safe mode and it still does it, so it's the OS upgrade that's caused it. It will stream music normally, with no static, as well as YouTube audio.

Try clearing the cache on your settings app.. If that doesn't work a factory reset may be the best.

Did you get it fixed? I started a thread and several people have same issues.
