When I updated my phone last night to android 10, I noticed I'm having issues with bluetooth. My phone connects to my car but when I want to play youtube music, the volume is really low.

Never had issues like this before the update.

Any ideas?

I have samsung s9+ with all the latest updates etc.

I did restart my phone.

Also make sure media volume is all the way up , might be thinking the ringer volume by mistake?

But I didnt need to have the media volume up all the way before the update.

What I'm saying is, it's very low. For example if I turned the volume up from the car, I usually have it set to any where from 10 to 13.
But with the update, it seems the volume is set at half that even though it set at my normal volume setting.

The media volume from my phone doesn't make a huge difference. Meaning in my media volume from my phone, I'll have it set in the middle and it's fine before the update.

I did however turned up my media volume from my phone to the max. And still sounds the same. There is no change.

Bluetooth volume itself might be set low. Bluetooth, media, notifications and ringer have their own volume bars

But when I get a phone call through bluetooth and uses the cars speakers, the volume is fine.

I dont raise the media volume in my phone or anything. Just like before the update, its nice and loud. This is when my volume controls setting on my car is set at just as the same as when I'm playing music using youtube.

Check in pull down notifications panel if Dolby Atmos is on , if ok go in recovery clear cache sometimes good after a update no old things lingers after , and if that doesnt work try safe mode . If still a issue factory reset as last option.

Dolby is on. How to get into the recovery section? I couldn't find it.
Sorry I didnt mean to double post.

Thank you.
Lol I fixed it.
So my bluetooth volume was down a bit. But before the update, that never affected the volume through the speakers.
That's what threw me off.
I guess with the new update, something was changed.
That's great , your welcome
