Every time I connect my phone to the Bluetooth in my car, it goes to max volume. I've looked for the Absolute Volume Control and can't find that setting to try and disable it.

It's in the Developer Options. I had the opposite problem the other day. Connected to a speaker and could barely hear anything. Went into developer options, and actually had to turn it on then back off to make it work right.

Ok, didn't have developer options. Had to go to software build and tap it 7 times to enable. Learn something new everyday.

Thanks!!

If you don't already use it, look into Bixby Routines. I have a routine set that when I connect to my vehicles Bluetooth, it adjusts the volumes on my phone to a predetermined volume. Phone speaker, media, & Bluetooth audio can be adjusted to whatever volume you want when you connect.
