Bluetooth

Trying to hook this up to my 2016 Mazda CX 9 and got the audio to work but not the phone. All the boxes are checked on the Bluetooth side anyone have any ideas on other settings I might be missing. The car says will not connect to phone. Works on GS7E

On the one us site someone said the Mazdas need a software update of some kind. Said after the system was updated everything worked fine. Maybe that's the issue.
