They didn't do anything to lock down the phone that was out of the ordinary. That original scare about how HTC was supposedly overwriting root on the G2 when the phone detected a change was an overreaction. The system just didn't originally allow for full writes to be made and the temporary files (which made the phone act like it had root before rebooting) was cleared once the phone rebooted.And what will u do if HTC pulls same thing as they did with g2
The phone has S-OFF now and can have full custom ROMs installed on it.
