blurred pictures on caller id

Hey guys so heres my problem: When someone calls me. Caller id pictures shows up blurry. The picture that they are using is from facebook. How its hella blurry? I have gmail contacts synced up as well as on facebook for android. What can i do to make them clear as when they call?

As many of us have discovered the images downloaded via facebook are blurry. The same pictures via htc facebook are crisp.

it is even CRAPPY when you assign a pic.

I have the same problem, even when only facebook for htc sense is linked. the contacts are linked to gmail but there are no pictures from the gmail

I cleared out everything Facebook on my phone. Then I synced my contacts with Facebook for HTC sense. Then I downloaded and installed Facebook for Android but made sure not to sync contacts at all.

This resulted in the pics being much clearer, even if they aren't perfect.

It is due to Google syncing your contacts.. the get downsized only remedy is to disable contact sync that I have seen.

What onthewhole said is correct. Disable Google contact sync in settings and then reassign pics to your contacts on your phone and the pics will be clear. The pixelated pics thing happened to me a few days ago when I moved from a D2G to my Tbolt. When my new phone pulled my contacts from Google the pics were awful. I think Google reduces pics to 96x96 pixels. I can't speak to the Facebook pics because I don't sync my Facebook contacts to my phone contacts.
