Blurry Home Icons?

Why are my stock apps home screen icons especially the favorite ones down below look blurry? I put it side by side with an iphone 8 and the iphone 7 screen looks 4k compared to the s10e icons. After doing research, it seems like a problem with samsung going back until the earlier Samsung Galaxys with blurry stock app icons. Its like im seeing double when looking at the messaging or call app. Really dont want to return this phone..

Maps, YouTube, Gmail look a lot better then the stock calling and messaging app icons...

I've never owned a Samsung phone before - but could that slightly blurry/"shadowed" look be a Samsung thing? The other apps are all Google/stock apps - other than the Samsung Notes one.

It's a 10e the screen resolution can't be altered

I added another icon in the favorites at the bottom. So now I have 5 so they shrunk a little to fit. That seemed to make it better. It seems like the stock icons are low resolution when they're big
