(blush) I lost the notification that shows which wi-Fi router I'm using

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7. Android is 6.0.1. My carrier is VZW.

About 2 weeks ago I was fooling around in Settings looking for ways to save battery life. When I was done, the Notification that tells me which Wi-Fi router I'm connected to had vanished. It's the one you can click on to display a list of available routers.

Please help me to navigate through Settings to get that notification back. I (used to) use it to switch to a faster router if I came up connected to my slower router, and I really miss it.

If you go to your WiFi Settings and tap on MORE, then go to ADVANCED, you should see a switch for NETWORK NOTIFICATION. Just keep that one toggled in ON and you should get that notification back.
