I've been having issues connecting to my Kia optima via Bluetooth. It's says it's pair but no sound goes there my car. The car connects with other phone and my Mate 9 connecta with other blutooth devices any help. I have deleted and retryed to pair the device a few times with no luck

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Bluetooth, tap the gear icon next to the car, and make sure Phone Audio and Media Audio are checked on.

I might also suggest a factory data reset if nothing else works. Make sure to backup data first

No luck with either. I'm not sure were to go from here. I looked up the specs and my V20 and Mate 9 use the same blutooth so I'm not sure why one is connecting and the other isn't

it is with both it's say paired and shows the bluetooth symbol on my car then when I play music or get a call it goes away and comes through on my phone

When you say no luck with either, do you mean that Phone Audio and Media Audio are checked on, but the sound still doesn't play over the car system? Or are those checkboxes missing?

I don't get either option. There is no gear icon once connected just the i in a circle. When I click on that I have the option to renam, unpair , and to turn contact sharing on which is.
