Bookmark widget

I'd like to utilize the 1x1 bookmark widget for chrome, but when I drop the widget to my home screen it opens a window that says "choose a bookmark" with nothing to choose from...
Ideas?

You could try opening a Web page in Chrome, then hitting the menu and select add to homescreen.

That doesn't utilize the widget though.
Is anyone else able to use the widget?

I've never used the chrome widget before but I'm getting the same blank screen when trying. What does the widget do?

I've used it on a previous phone, lg g2, and it creates a one touch shortcut, like your suggestion, but shows an icon specific to the website...

Mostly I want to know if I have an isolated issue or if others are experiencing the same thing. Thanks for your response.

I just upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S6 edge plus from an s4 and got the same thing. I know there are tons of bookmarks, but I get the same blank page.

I am experiencing the same issue as you, though I never used this widget so I can't tell if this is Marshmallow specific or broke in a Chrome update.

I am on galaxy s4 lollipop 5.0.1 and experiencing the same.used to work. It's nova or chrome issue.

Yup. Same blank CHOOSE A BOOKMARK list on my Moto X Pure Edition 2015, with MM.

Sounds like this is a Chrome issue.

Rolled Chrome back by uninstalling updates and bookmark works now...definitely a Chrome issue
