boot images?

I have extensively searched this on the internet and have found nothing related to the opti s. Is there anyway to change the boot image/logo displayed before the boot animation. I don't know how to make boot images but I'm pretty sure that they go in the / boot image folder where the stock boot image is found right? I want a cm9 logo if anyone can provide a link please.
