boot screen not working after installing Froyo Kangerade V1.0

anyone having trouble getting the restore nandroid at boot using the power and x button? it stopped working after installing the Kangerade rom? anyone please i cant restore any of my previous backups, any help will be appreciated, if posting in wrong area my apologies, jeff

i didn't see this yesterday but ill try to help you out.

the reason it is not going back to the recovery is because there is probably an issue with the current recovery. if you are using rom manager, make sure you have the newest version and then open it up. press the menu button and then go to settings. make sure you have the option to delete previous recovery after you flash flash a recovery. this way when you try to flash the Clockwork recovery it will delete what you currently have and eliminate any thing that could be an issue due to the previous one.

reflash clockwork and then reboot into recovery. there you go. should work. if you don't have Rom manager, go to the market and download the free version
