Hi,
Im on liberty GB Rom v0.5 and cannot get into recovery mode or hard reset device. When i try to get into it it loads Motorola bootlogo, then goes into a black screen. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the bootstrap app, also tried installing the newly released v0.6 but it will not install. I know SBFing will cure this, however I am trying to avoid it.
Has anyone run into this problem before, and if so how did you manage to fix it?

thanks in advance for any help.

you must use the droid 2 bootstrap. or you can use the droid x bootsrap but have to uncheck debugging.

I would also recommend using the native bootstrap in the Liberty toolbox. Works great.
