Bored... Give me Something Hackerish to do on my EVO

Need something to do that will aggravate me on my evo...

It feels odd just sitting here not fiddling with the damn thing...

So far i have the kernel customized, custom boot animation bloatware gone... correct Hboot... Tons of Roms


Maybe I'll toy with the Splash screen... hmmm

UPDATE on Boredom: Scratch the Splash Screen... Thats done now too... Sigh

So I pulled apart your .zip **Sorry**

And Replaced my Droid-X boot animation for it...

Ima flash it just to see if it works...

Now because of you ima be obsessed with customizing Roms...

You could start going through your apk's and changing the icons XD

after you change the .png you have to re-zip and include the odex file if you want to do this, then just re flash =P

Make sure you put it in the right one

System > Customize > Resource

If you're a person that can learn by reading there are tons of how-to's available. The grand daddy himself (cyanogen) even wrote a how-to on ROM's. I read it a while ago so no clue where to find it but a Google search should turn it up.

I have my own ROM and kernel I play with when I'm bored but I'd never let it out for public consumption as I simply don't have time to support it. Another day, another device

This Virtual box + Android Kitchen Krap is awkward...

My Home PC is on Ubuntu 10.04 so i'll wait till i get home to Install that and play...

You need to resign the rom then you can flash it.I do most my work with ubuntu but you can also set it up to work with windows.I still sign all my zips in windows.
