Bored with my Note9...

Had the Note 9, s10e, and s10. Got rid of the s10 so now I am just gonna go back and forth between the S10e and the Note 9. The s10e is nice and compact and easy to carry but the BEAST Note 9 still feels great!

Loved the Note 8 for 1.5 years until an update corrupted it. Received a next day Note 9 compliments of Verizon. Runs similar, little better battery, slightly faster. Both of these phones are excellent. They do everything I want them to do. The Notes are great phones!

I love my Note 9. But I have to admit...I can't find a single, regular use for the S-PEN. I don't draw stuff, and I don't have much need for on the road notes that need to be drawn (I usually use voice notes if I need it at all).

I am not judging the pen...just saying that I have not been able to use it productively the way that I work.

However, for those that say the S10+ is no better, check this comparison:

Wifi 6, better cameras, FM radio, etc... it is a newer and more feature rich package from a technical perspective.

This being said, my next phone will be a Samsung S"something" when 5G is correctly and fully implemented by Verizon and Samsung.

Making a great smartphone is like being in a great sports team. Once you've got the "formula" right it becomes easier to repeat a "winning" performance. I always expect the following Galaxy Note phone to be better than its predecessor. I now buy only 1 phone per year. Consequently, I'm NEVER tempted to buy the latest Galaxy S phone. Different strokes for different folks.

My Note 9 is the first phone I've had that I'm not in the least bit interested in upgrading. The Note 10 talk hasn't tempted me at all. Love this phone. I don't know what I'd need/want it to do that it doesn't/can't do. The only thing I could think of would be a dramatic improvement to the camera. 50x optical zoom might do it ;)
