Boredom induced rooting...

So today, for no other reason than sheer boredom and curiosity (no issues with the phone), I decided to unlock/root/rom my Nexus. I went with Bugless Beast's JB ROM and I have to say overall I am very impressed with the improvements of JB over ICS.

One negative I've found is with voice commands. It seems very hit or miss to get Google Music to play certain songs/artists. Some will open up and play while others will just bring up a Google search (usually with YouTube results of the song in question).

Overall, I'm glad I took the time to do it...well worth it.

I'm running BB also. I love it. I've found voice recognition to be iffy no matter what version; stock or rooted. But anyhow, have fun with your "new" device!
