bottom Navigation bar color change to black?

Is it possible to change the navigation bar to Black? Even when I download an all black theme and it's supposed to be black everything is black but the navigation bar is white at the bottom. And when I go into the settings and try to manually change the color there is no black option just some different shades of white. Also I am using Nova Launcher but I don't see anything that will let me change it with that either.

Nope, no black available anymore And most themes in the store are designed for older models, so even though they might show the bar in a black color, it's probably a screenshot from a Note 8 or S8 (or even older) phone.

You can do that with themeing apps like Substratum, but to the best of my knowledge, those would require root, and Substratum stopped working on Oreo and hasn't been patched, I don't think.

Thank you. I'm coming from an S7edge so this is new.. After doing some research I learned that it used to be possible to choose black for the GS8 but then samsung did an update and changed that option to what we have now. Damn.. Thanks again

That's not true... You gen get an app called nav bar where you can change it to black. I've got mine black now...

I tried that and it still didn't change the main home screen navigation to black but would change the navigation bar colors when it was on an app screen or something other than the home screen
