Brand new galaxy s4 - pink line down screen

Hi everyone! So after months of debating, I finally decided to change from my iPhone 4 to a galaxy s4. Opened the box on this morning (bought yesterday from Vodafone shop), put in my SIM card and found a thin pink line running down the middle of my phone screen. Took out the sim straight away, figured I'm better to not even set it up and just take in back first thing tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the screen faulty? Will Vodafone just replace the phone? Am really not happy for them to send it away to be fixed as it was literally brand new out of the box. Big disappointment on Christmas Day!

Take the phone back and exchange it for another S4, sounds like you got a defective unit
