Brand new Note 5 left side of screen freezing up, what should I do?

Brand new note 5 left side of screen freezing up

My brand new Verizon note 5 is freezing up on the left side

Mine is doing the same thing. I restarted and it works for a few hours and then it starts doing the same thing again. I even factory reset my phone 2 days ago and it still doing the same thing and it seems to be getting worse.

Are you both using Facebook Messenger? If so, that may be the cause.
