I'm a former owner of bb phone but i switched to the htc thunderbolt and so far very impressed. I'm still learning stuff with it. one thing i need help with is finding ring tones like band songs. i would love to have some good songs as ring tones on it and any good tips will be very helpful.

Welcome to the Android experience! There are some others on the Android Market
but right now im using Ringdroid which lets you use your own music library for creating.

You can use you own music as a Ringtone without a App. Go to the song, hit your Menu key>More>Set as Ringtone. You can also download Zedge from the Market it has thousands of Ringtones and Notification tones, and its free.
