Click to expand... A rooted Inspire is one that you can modify the heck out of, overclock it, get around AT&T's evil lockdowns of this open source OS phone. Rooting is the reason I have Android.

Gunnyman Well-known member Apr 10, 2010 223 3 0 Feb 23, 2011 #4 it won't double the speed but my phone is clocked at 1.6 ghz now. linpack and quadrant scores are definitely higher and the phone has a little extra snappiness to it.
