I got tired of waiting for the JB ugrade I dumped my phone for a Nexus 4. I also believe the issue that people have with HTC is the One X + vs One X. The One X + launched with JB and we still can't get JB and the Samsung Rugby is getting it.

I'm not trying to state or start anything, but I was just thinking and came up with an idea. Samsung is indeed paying millions upon millions for advertising, and the HOX and HOX+ are major competitors with the S3. Could it be possible that some deal was made, or something was done to purposely delay the update for AT&T to get HOX users that care about updates to make the jump to the S3? I know there are many problems with this idea, like why do something that gets people mad at your company, and it is probably just bloatware, but what are the chances that something like a deal happened?

I would say the chances of a deal being made like this are slim to none. Samsung has made a ton off their smartphones recently, and the one X isn't that well known of a phone to warrant such a thing. AT&T is notoriously slow with updates, January has come and gone more or less, and who knows when they will begin pushing it out now.
