Breaking that Crackberry Habbit!

I miss my BBM, plus I liked that a geotagged picture could have its location viewed in BB Maps. As much as I liked my Storm, I will not miss the daily reboot, reboots that took 3-4 min to complete, the constant spinning clock waiting for an app to open, opening the browser, typing in a website and watching the progress bar hang at "requesting." Blackberries are great devices, but not meant for consumers.

I do have an addiction to my BB and I do miss her but right now, the Droid is doing everything that my BB did but faster. It's sad because I have always been a die hard BB fan, even took my friend to get her the S2 (she isn't ready for the Droid just yet). I sometimes feel like I am cheating on my BB.... **sigh**

It sucks. But I had to jump ship already. It was getting old. Getting 1 fix and then having BB break 3 others.

I too am giving up my BlackBerry for the Droid. I have been a die hard BB user for some time... I even Mod at a BB site. But the BlackBerry just dont compare to the Droid. And the hardware is enough to keep me satisfied for some time to come. I dont think I am going to miss my BB at all. More the great friends I have made thru BBM.

My wife has the S1 for now. We are working a way to get her the droid or the new HTC that will have 2.0 or rumored for her. She doesn't need all the power of the droid. But she defiantly wants one if not he droid another one soon.

Hey guys im loving the DROID!!!:D Android OS is so fast, my bro has a tour and i pulled up howardforums and i was already on the second page and he had just got done loading the 1st. I do hope that the fix the Attaching sound issue though. Awsome phone though

I don't know about you guys but I am really enjoying the Droid! I am coming from a BB Storm that I had since day 1 and its like a breathe of fresh air.

1. No more daily reboots
2. No more having to close all apps
3. No more constant memory watching
4. No more waiting for the slow web page loads and every other data slow down because of BIS.
5. No more LAG!

I am having a hard time breaking those tendencies though. Haha. How are you guys dealing with the Crackberry withdrawal.

This thread is pure win, I have had my Droid for 2 day's and It's awesome. Zero glitch's so far, no need to reset. I couldn't have said it better myself if I tried.

I will miss my BB Bold which was awesome! I only left the crackberry because I was sick and tired of at&t's lame service. I still would have been suffering through at&t's bad service if that Droid hadn't come along. :) Anyway, I find this phone overwhelming (in a good way!) and I'm so excited about playing with it and learning how to use it. (just got it this evening)

I just upgraded to a Storm 2, and after a week, swapped it over for a Droid... Im afraid i'll have withdrawals, so hopefully email, twitter, facebook, yahoo instant messaging work as well as on my BB's.... Def wont miss battery pulls every couple hours or severe memory leaks!

Unfortunately, they don't! My Droid is sitting in its box. I am back to using my Tour. I can't get myself to return the thing until I finish my research. The Facebook app sucks on the Droid. That is one of the reasons its sitting in the box amongst other things. I miss my "Phone Only" ring profile! Please elaborate guys! I really want to unbox it and use it. But thus far, I am staying Blackberry!

I am pretty sure that there's an application so you can have control over your profiles just like a Blackberry. Search the market.
