Bricked Infuse with an exclamation point (HELP!)

So, I was able to root using onclick, then I was able to flash ROM using Odin, but it did not flash well. It had issues.
So, I was going to swap the phone out for an SG2 on Monday, so I was trying to go back to stock, but now it I have successfully bricked it to a graphic of:
Phone -- ! -- PC
Problem was, after updating to the I997UCKI4 ROM, it was unrooted and unresponsive to any ODIN work.

I am going to try the GTG method of unbricking once it finishes downloading.

What is the latest greatest method to unbrick an Infuse that only gets the graphic screen, even when I press volume buttons and plug-in??
Is it still the GTG method?

So, I guess the point is moot now.... I did try the ODIN UCKD5 method and I ended up with a phone that no longer powered on! I do NOT think it was due to any of this software, but my phone was acting rather flaky anyway. I think it just up and died from natural causes... LOL
AT&T promptly swapped me another Infuse and I am not going to touch it. Right now, the new one is working better than the old one did and it is still on 2.2.1.
So, so far, so good!
