Bricked my phone??

crap now it can be called about bricked. try to wipe data factory reset let me know if it boots after

hmm. ok what rom did you flash and what kernel need to know to see if you flashed the wrong thing. you can sbf the phone using the frg01b sbf. dont leave the battery in with it at the motorola screen for long will kill the battery

you flashed a droid incredible rom on a motorola droid. correct me if im wrong

yeah your freind screwed you that rom doesnt work on our droids. just donwload one of those roms and flash it the same way should get you a working droid

bizz to the rescue haha. good job man, i didn't even see this thread until now.

bizz is right though, make sure you do not take advice from your friends unless they are positive it will work on your droid and can prove it to you. word of mouth is a bad thing without having knowledge about it yourself. Your not alone though. I remember back in the days when Bizz would be saving my butt because i couldn't figure out anything when it came to rooting. If it wasn't for Bizz and Roy i would have probably thrown my droid against the wall haha. thank god i didn't.

in the future though just try to do some research about what it is you are trying to do before you do it. remember, measure twice, cut once.

yes this brings back memories of the good old times ive had. trying to help people here

thats probably why i have so many post and i did love it those were the good old days even thought it was only a few months ago

Bizz you better get the same phone as me when I upgrade. Wont be the same BSing about what you can do with it without you haha.

if you plan to upgrade to the htc world phone or the evo look alike then yes we will get the same phone. if its anything else then i dont know. as of now im waiting dont want to waste an upgrade

I downloaded the wrong sbf file

Hey Bizz I read you the man to go to. Last night I was trying to root my droid and in the process I grabbed the wrong sbf file. I am or was running android 2.2 and I grab an sbf file that was suppose to be used to root a phone running android 2.1. Now every time I open my phone I get no signal my battery is showing white outlined in red with a red line through it and it keeps force closing. I was able to get it into recovery mode but did not try getting it into bootloader mode. Do you know where I would start to try to get this thing fixed. I was just trying to root so I could run cyanogen mod. If you could help it would be much appreciated.
