[Bricked] Optimus S

While i was trying to root my phone with gingerbreak + Z4 root i bricked it after trying a factor reset
none of the flashing methods work but i can get into emergency mode
any ideas?

If you can get into emergency mode again, try it again. If not, best call Sprint.

Also, you said you used Gingerbreak + Z4root. Which one did you use: Gingerbreak or Z4Root? Z4root is guaranteed to fail on any software update above LS670ZV9.

ok ill try a couple more times
and i used gingerbreak which failed twice then z4root which also failed then did a factory reset which did the bricking i think

is this normal to see in the log?

i thought my phone was bricked , I removed the SD card and it rebooted, try it might work.

Also, try different versions of the firmware with the E-Mode Fix. I bricked mine, and it constantly went to 99% then stopped with the VC .cab file. Try with the V9 .cab file. It worked for me. Just make sure you change all the commands in command prompt to reflect the new .cab file, such as changing the "Version: LS670ZVC" to "Version: LS670ZV9". Good luck, and don't give up until you get so angry that you could throw your phone across the room. And if you have insurance, then feel free to smash you phone, because insurance covers you smashing the phone, but not bricking it.
