Bright Sight, whatever it's going to turn out to be, isn't going to be Night Sight (Pixel's night function) - that's done in a proprietary Google chip. If Samsung can get OIS holding still for a 10 second exposure, they might come close.
I have a ported version of the Google Pixel 3's software with Night Sight on my Note 9 and I am very impressed. I've ported GCam software to all of my devices since developer B-S-G released his first version for phones running Snapdragon and they have proven to be a nice additional photographic option. Google Pixel software and Samsung hardware make an awesome combination.
