Broken aux head - help!

The end of a 3.5mm aux cable broke off in my Android 10 Moto G7 last night. Following online advice (superglue etc) hasn't been successful, and the phone is now stuck in 'headset' mode.

Two questions:
Can I disable headset mode, allowing me to use the phone as normal? Currently I have to use the speaker during a call. I understand that rooting the phone may allow this but I'd rather not embark on a whole new tech experiment if possible! NB: there's nothing in settings that I can see.

The phone is 3+ years old, and I'll probably replace it this year (but not yet, if possible). If I drilled down into the area of the aux port from the back of the phone to give me a bigger area for tweezers, would I be hitting any electronics down there? Alternatively, would it do me any good to remove the back (and would it go back on?!)?

Thanks!

Can u show a picture how much is sticking out?

I think the problem is that the broken tip is lodged way into the headphone jack, so it's extremely difficult to remove. The superglue trick is the typical solution, but this depends on being able to get a good adhesive seal between the broken tip and whatever kind of stick you're using to try to pull it out.

If its in that far and probably best to take apart or have a repair shop mess with it .
