Broken camera glass

Just noticed my camera glass has a vertical crack in it.

I guess this will be my free trade-in from HTC.

HTC has offered to warranty out the phone with me sending it back, waiting 7 days and getting my repaired phone back, or using the UH-OH protection, and getting a refurb overnighted and losing the $100 credit on my next phone.

7 days without a phone can be very painful for some hehe. But a refurb isn't something everybody wants either. Decisions, decisions, decisions

yeah but one is your phone with a replaced camera glass VS someone else's phone with something unknown being replaced, or did I misinterpret that?

If you have a back up phone I'd wait for the repair just so you don't lose your UhOh credit.

True. They are giving me the run around now. I have had someone from HTC call me everyday since Monday asking me over and over if I dropped the phone, we chat for a little, and they verify my mailing address and then the call ends.

Still no phone.

I wonder if I can take it into the VZW store to swap it out.

I'm wondering if this is a design flaw. Most people I know with the M9 (including me!) have this crack in the camera lens; always vertical and in the same place without any apparent cause.

Interesting.... I just figured I hit it on the counter or something while it was in my pocket. I always carry it screen in.
