Broken/cracked screens?

Anyone else cracked their front screen? I've cracked two already, just got my 2nd replacement. These have all been gentle drops too, both from chairs to hard floors. Both in same spot, top right corner, just a tiny crack, over the battery level % notification area.

I probably had 10 drops of my Pixel 2 XL, with no cracks. Hard drops too, like while running,etc. I think by squeezing these bezels so thin, it loss its durability of the Pixel 2. If it lands on the corner, it is likely to crack, while a direct face down drop will likely survive.

Thank goodness for Verizon insurance. My first replacement they sent a brand new Pixel. I believe because replacement screens were not available yet. My 2nd one I just received is a refurb I believe without the official Pixel sealed box. Looks mint though.

I'm using a super slim rubber case, which protects the sides and back.

Dropped it a few times and it's fine. I actually have a tempered glass case on it.

10 times? Sounds like you need to purchase an OtterBox and not use a super slim non-protective case.

Treat it like a $1000 piece of high tech equipment and be careful.
