Broken inside screen - what would you do?

Over the weekend the perfect storm happened, I had insurance through samsung on my Fold, but my credit card was compromised and we failed to notice the payment hadn't gone through so the insurance was canceled. (completely my fault).

Then a couple days later I was working on my Jeep and left the phone on the bumper. It fell on the road and has a vertical black line down the middle and the inside screen now is unresponsive.

Would you trade it in through Verizon and get a Fold 6? I can get $1000 for any condition Fold 5 trade in.

Trade it in through Samsung for a Fold 6, where they would offer a $550 trade in for the phone.

Trade it in for a different (non-foldable) phone)?

Or wait until this summer and trade it in for a Fold 7 when they are released?

I know it's all personal preference and a lot of variables. Just interested to hear what others may do in this situation.

By 'any condition', don't Co.'s typically mean that that's for (normally) working phones in 'any condition'? Are you sure they'd accept yours upon inspection?

Great question, I'll have to look into it. This is what I've seen -

If you are already a VZN customer then that seems to be best option. Waiting later might not have same or similar offer for broken device.
