Broken "Open with" popup table (just once, always) - Android 13

Hello,

I bought Sony Xperia 5 III XQ-BQ52 with Android 13 61.2.A.0.472A . But I have problem with popup Open with table, which not switching apps when I click on any app. On first position there is still first opened app. Another apps should switch with this after open.

For example, I open some photo Just once Google gallery and then I want open photo in different app (for ex. Simple Gallery) . But then, there is still Google Gallery at first place, not Simple Gallery app.



In Android 8.0 Oreo this works correctly.

Is there any ADB command to fix this, or this is Android 13 global problem, which I can't fix it?

I will try flash the pphone back to Android 11 .Android 13 is too much broken and disabling too much things for users :-/ .

It's not only this app. Even if I have Files or Google Photos on first position (it's possible when I set Simple Gallery as default (always) and then remove default app on it in Settings) and then try open file in another app, first used app stuck on first position (on top) like this Simple Gallery.

Why? It's not problem in this app. As I said, even if I have another app on top, other apps not switch after launch them.

When any app on top, it stuck there.

Ok, so I downgraded system to Android 11 (with EMMA tool) , and there is no problem with this popup window. Apps switching correctly. So this is an Android 13 issue maybe :-/ .

So I upgraded to Android 12 and still, it works there too. So this issue is in probably in Android 13+ .
