broken Optimus T

Sorry for cross-posting. I come seeking advise on fixing my locked Optimus T. I deleted the lghome.apk. I tried to follow the directions from another thread & so far no go. I am locked at the Android screen. I can get the phone to reset & can even get it si I can use the voice comands but it does not recognize any of my commands. I have the lghome.apk & lghome.odek file on my SD card but I do not know how to get it back in the root. I have been playing with it for about 4 hours & am just about to put it in the box. I need help.

I think there is a recovery tool either on T-Mobile's or LG's website that will reset the phone. I'd check there first...

Would not work. Kept saying my software was up to date even though I was trying to use recovery.

I also had this problem! All you have to do is hold the volume down button and the home and attempt to turn in on. Then it will factory reset it. After that you will get access to the main part. You cannot use home. Your "Home:" button will be the dialer. After this plug it in to your computer and download a lghome.apk and put it on your sd card! And then reset! After that i would reccomend getting a new home button off the market. I enjoy alot of the new home buttons better. Hope This Helped!!
