broken screen (lcd) can i charge it

hi, can I charge my Samsung galaxy s6 edge plus if my lcd is broke and my screens cracked everywhere but it works ok but when I put it on charge it seems to flicker a lot should I turn it off and charge it or not charge it at all?

I would not use it.....it could present a fire hazard, the flickering is NOT a good thing!
