Broken Screen LG Optimus G use as WiFi Adapter for desktop?

Hi, so I have an LG Optimus G (E970) with a broken digitizer, and I don't have the money to get it fixed. The Linksys WiFi dongle on my desktop recently broke, so I was wondering if there was a way I could navigate the broken Optimus G using my desktop, so I could use it as a replacement dongle for the time being. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
