I feel the same way. The less people to like it the better lol. Sadly it will be like the Note 7. Plenty talked about the blue and rose gold sides only to end up liking it after seeing it in person.
I'm glad some are getting scared off by the Mystic Bronze, just because I don't want too many other people rocking it lol. It's already the most popular option, and I was able to confirm twice in-person at Best Buy that (to me at least) it's clearly a deep bronze color. Others in the "Best Buy hands-on" thread said the same.

But yeah, can't go wrong with that Mystic White either. Gorgeous color, and they did as good a job as they could stylizing that giant camera housing.

I think the buds live case looks more rose gold but the actual buds look very much gold

Wonder why the watch is only bronze in 41mm? Seems to imply more for smaller wrists but why

Ok, stopped by BB on way home and got a chance to finally see one of these suckers live and hold it and caress it and... anyways... getting a close look at Mystic Bronze I can now say it looks...

"Rose Gold Bronze!"

... or "Rose Bronze??"... "Rose Copper???" :D

I have to say, beautiful color really. The matte is perfect for it. And that matte feels great.

In a low light source you can see more of a Bronze and I was trying to get a pic without it catching a light source. But no matter if I try to angle it away from one light source, it just picks up another. This thing will just pick up light from all angles and brighten this color up and to me, that's where it lightens it up so much it can be seen as rosy. It has a wide range of shift. So the pic I took is probably the best cause it shows the how much color can shift.

I won't say pink. It's not a Rose Gold on the pink side. But it has a Rose to it more on the gold side. Rose Gold has a wide range too.

Below is a link to show this color definitely can fall and be labeled Rose Gold or Rose Bronze.

I've thought about doing that but with the COVID and how many people have probably handled the demo units I decided against it. I hope you used hand sanitizer after handling them.

LOl, Roger that! The moment I got in the car I pulled out a couple of wipes and wiped thoroughly as well as my phone that I was holding all the time in there. Different and long story but I'm probably immune at the moment. But still not taking chances and wiping and such.

Nice! Your picture shows a different shade. This one definitely has more brown in it to me. Still, I love every shade I've seen.

That's good, it's a shame really. I've literally went to Best Buy or my local T-Mobile to see the new Note before I could get my hands on it. Now I don't see it's worth the risk... ☹️

Pretty clear from various forums, reviewers, Twitter, etc. that Mystic Bronze is the most popular Samsung color in a while. Understandable, those metallic tones always look/feel more premium in a flagship device of any kind and Samsung hasn't released a shade of gold in a few years in the US. Might even be more popular than the S10 Prism White, but that's partly because the S10 also had a wider variety of nice color options to choose from.

If anything, it'll look more bronze in real life (at least it did to me). Sounds like photos/videos are really skewing some interpretations of the color.

Gotta say though, can't go wrong with the Mystic White either. Absolutely brilliant with the glossy back, and silver camera housing and frame.

I am going with the white. I just can't get on board with a 'bronze' phone no matter how 'pink' it looks. And I know me and know that the 'bronze' rings around the camera and 'bronze' camera bump would drive me nuts when I see it poke through the case I got for it.

It will look BLACK once you put on the requisite rubber/plastic case...so who really cares?
At any rate NO phone is worth $1000.00 or even more! LOL

Why requisite? Plenty of us never use a case. Definitely agree with that second sentence.
I've always gone naked and not use a case but with the huge camera hump I just cannot see anyone in their right mind not use a case.

Placing the phone on its back with the hump will eventually cause some damage to the lens and ive always hated placing the phone face down.

I'll be browsing thru various websites for a case for the first time ever!!

Like many others, I have no intention of using a case.

Placing the phone on its back with the hump will eventually cause some damage to the lens and [I']ve always hated placing the phone face down.
Placing it carefully, face-up, on a charging stand or soft surface will not damage the lens. In fact, if anything, the larger protrusion makes such damage slightly less likely, because the phone will rest on the edge of the protrusion, and the lens itself will be slightly further from the underlying surface (imagine a 1cm protrusion and you'll see what I mean).

Even so, the color makes little difference to me, as I seldom have reason to look at the back of my phone.
