I have opera mobile, firefox 4 beta2, stock browser, skyfire on right now. some thoughts

1. speed and snappy-ness: Opera mobile>skyfire=firefox>>stock browser
2. flash video: stock browser and skyfire only
3. syncing across the devices and computers: firefox>opera mobile>>rest
4. the font: stock>firefox>opera mobile=skyfire
5. image quality (when zooming in): stock=opera mobile=skyfire>firefox

I especially like the awesome screen of firefox, it just makes surfing so much faster.

One thing about opera mobile is that in portrait mode, it always try to render at a width of 768px, so it won't shrank down enough to fit the screen width.

I'm not sure if its the same on the Tab or not, since I dont have one, but something else I noticed between all of these is that when zooming in on links in skyfire, it does not (in most cases) re-render the page/text. So when you zoom in, you are clicking in the same exact location. This alone has kept me coming back to Skyfire...

Have you considered adding Dolphin HD to your lineup? I felt it was best for speed compared to my short trials of each of the others you mentioned. Just a thought. :)

I just did.

Dolphin HD is interesting in that it mesh everything together, the "accessing functions by sliding left and right" are quite like firefox, the fonts are as good as stock browser. it also has flash on demand.

Its speed is much better than the stock one, but I dont think its as good as opera mobile.

I will keep it around for sure.

But for me personally, firefox sync and awesome screen really give me my desktop browsing feeling. So i probably will stick to it for now.

My only complaint with Firefox was the choppy rendering. If I go to a larger page (like the main page of androidcentral.com) and flick to scroll, the page is rendered in chunks, even after the page is completely downloaded.

Am I the only one seeing that, or maybe I'm the only one that finds it annoying. :)
